Microtra features

Choose the tools that fit the business you run.

Microtra is a small business app for the records around your work: clients, estimates, jobs, appointments, invoices, costs and stock. Start with your industry, then choose the modules and words that fit. Use the same business on your phone and the web; offline editing is coming soon.

Let setup reflect the work

An appointment business, a shop and a trade do not need the same starting layout. Industry setup selects modules and terms, and Modules & terms lets you adjust them. Stock begins on for Retail shop and Bakery & food; bookings and packages begin on for appointment and session industries.

Carry a client relationship through the records

Contact details, billing preferences and sites connect to estimates and invoices. Jobs hold status, tasks, notes and costs, while appointments connect staff to planned work. Keeping these records together helps you review the context instead of rebuilding it when the next request arrives.

Know what is work and what is money

Record time with a job timer or manual entries, keep expense categories and receipt photos, and prepare invoices from estimates or job time. Record payments received elsewhere against the bill. Card charging, Tap to Pay and pay links are coming soon, so the app does not collect those payments.

See purchasing and services where they belong

Stock tools cover locations, counts, transfers, wastage, saved items, kits and suppliers. Booking tools cover services, owner-entered bookings and in-app packs or memberships. Enable the relevant modules for your business; public online booking and online package sales are coming soon.

Review the business without combining unlike currencies

Reports cover income, expenses, cash and outstanding invoices, with views by client, item, job and tax. Export CSV or PDF reports for further review. US, UK and EU settings provide USD, GBP and EUR formats, and reports keep each currency separate.

How it works.

  1. Set up the business and select the industry closest to your work, then review Modules & terms.
  2. Add a real client or customer and create the estimate, order, job or appointment the business needs.
  3. Keep time, costs and documents with the relevant records as work moves toward billing.
  4. Share invoice PDFs through your device, record received payments and review the business reports.

Useful answers.

Is Microtra only for people who visit customers at home?

No. It is software for small business, including trades, cleaners, salons, studios, shops and professional services. The useful records and starting modules depend on the kind of business.

Must I use every module?

No. Industry setup chooses a starting point, and Modules & terms lets you change the tools and words used in the business. Enable stock, bookings or linked records when they suit the work.

Can I use the same records from a browser and phone?

Yes. Sign in to the same Microtra business on your phone or the web. Records refresh when you open a screen. Offline editing is coming soon.

Where should I compare plans and allowances?

Use the pricing page for published plan information and invoice allowances. Check those details against your business rather than assuming that each plan has the same limits.
