Pressure washing price calculator

A driveway, house siding, a deck and a fence can need different work and different prices. Add each surface with its own measured area and your own square-foot rate. The calculator combines those amounts, adds travel and checks the total against the minimum charge you enter.

Price each surface on its own terms

Add the surfaces in your scope and enter your rate for each. Condition, access and cleaning method can change the rate you choose. Values stay in this page and clear when you leave.

Surface 1

For siding or fences, measure the faces you will clean rather than the property's floor area.

Enter zero if you do not use a minimum. The minimum applies to surfaces plus travel together.

Enter zero if travel is already included in your surface rates.

Job price

Enter each surface area and rate, your minimum and travel assumptions to calculate a job price.

The formulas

Surface price = square feet × your rate per square foot, calculated separately for every surface.

Travel = round-trip minutes ÷ 60 × your travel hourly rate.

Subtotal = all surface prices + travel.

Minimum adjustment = the amount needed to reach your minimum, or zero if the subtotal already meets it.

Job price = the greater of your subtotal or your minimum charge.

How it works.

  1. List the surfaces in the job. Choose driveway, house siding, deck or fence for each entry, using another entry when separate areas need different rates. Measure the faces to be cleaned rather than using a property's floor area for vertical surfaces.
  2. Enter a square-foot rate for every surface based on your inspection and costs. Consider material, condition, access, protection and the cleaning method you intend to use. This tool does not choose a safe method or supply market prices.
  3. Add your round-trip travel time and travel hourly rate. Use zero if travel is included elsewhere, then enter your minimum job charge. The minimum is a floor for the combined surface and travel subtotal, rather than an extra fee.
  4. Read each surface amount, the travel charge and any adjustment needed to reach your minimum. Define preparation, water access, exclusions and cleanup before quoting. The tool requires no account, stores nothing and adds no tax.

Useful answers.

Can I use different rates on the same job?

Yes. Every surface entry has its own area and rate. A deck and a driveway can therefore use different assumptions, and you can add another entry for a separately priced section of the same surface type.

How does the minimum charge work?

The calculator first adds all surface prices and travel. If that subtotal is below the minimum you entered, an adjustment raises it to your minimum. If the subtotal already meets the minimum, the adjustment is zero.

Does it calculate fence or siding area for me?

No. Enter the square feet of the faces you will clean. For a fence, make clear whether the scope covers one face or both, and measure accordingly. Siding measurements should reflect wall faces rather than indoor floor area.

Will the result include chemicals, equipment and protection?

Only through the rates you enter. Build those rates to cover the work and costs in your scope, including materials, equipment, protection and overhead. Inspect the surface first; the calculation cannot assess damage, access or cleaning suitability.
