A pressure washing estimate with clear surface boundaries
The driveway, siding and deck are different surfaces with different preparation needs. Show what you inspected and how each area will be treated rather than using pressure washing as a catch-all promise. This sample focuses on a concrete driveway, adjacent walkway and protection work. Stain removal, vulnerable coatings, water access and runoff arrangements belong in the estimate before equipment arrives.

[Attach surface boundaries and photos of preexisting cracks, coatings or staining.]
[Describe the intended cleaning result and stains outside the agreed scope.]
[Confirm water supply, drainage considerations and protection of nearby landscaping.]
[Record access for hoses and equipment; remove decks, roofs or siding unless separately assessed.]
How to use the template.
- Walk every surface the customer wants cleaned. Identify concrete, pavers, painted areas and other materials separately.
- Measure each accepted area and note drainage, slope, obstructions and water access.
- Describe preparation and protection, including moving light items and managing hoses around entrances.
- State which stains are targeted and avoid guaranteeing removal of every mark. Document existing surface defects.
- Discuss the work window and site conditions, then share a reviewed estimate with the measured boundaries attached.
Useful answers.
Can I price the whole exterior as a single area?
A combined price can work after you define each surface and treatment. Keep the scope specific enough that a driveway clean is not mistaken for roof, siding or deck work.
How should oil or rust stains appear?
Identify the stains observed and the treatment you intend to attempt. Explain limits and any separately priced work rather than guaranteeing a uniform result on every aged surface.
Where do water supply and runoff notes go?
Put them with the site assumptions so the customer can review them before the visit. Assess applicable local guidance and site constraints rather than relying on the sample to prescribe a disposal method.
Keep exploring.
