Put wedding coverage and delivery in the same proposal

A wedding photography proposal should follow the day the couple is planning. Preparation locations, ceremony rules, travel between venues and the reception timeline shape coverage. This estimate sample separates the lead photographer, additional coverage and an album option. It also asks you to define image finishing, delivery and schedule assumptions without suggesting that every moment or guest can be guaranteed a particular photograph.

How to use the template.

  1. Talk through the event timeline with the couple, including travel and venue restrictions.
  2. Identify which parts of the day need simultaneous coverage and whether an additional photographer fits the plan.
  3. State coverage hours and explain the process for discussing a timeline overrun.
  4. Describe editing, file delivery and any album or print option so the couple knows the proposed output.
  5. Review the estimate alongside separately agreed booking terms before reserving or performing the work.

Useful answers.

Should travel between wedding venues count as coverage?

State your own approach explicitly. Travel affects the available photography time even when both locations are close, so connect it to the timeline.

Does an album option belong in the main total?

Show clearly whether the couple selected it or it remains optional. Describe size, page design and selection responsibilities so the product is identifiable.

Can I promise every requested group photo?

Discuss a realistic group list, the available time and someone who can help gather people. Record the plan while avoiding an absolute guarantee that ignores attendance or venue constraints.
