How to use the template.
- Replace both parties' placeholders and give the invoice a unique reference you can find later.
- Describe the supplied work in the client's words. Set the correct quantities, units and agreed rates rather than keeping the example figures.
- Add your issue date, service date, payment terms and any tax information that applies. Check the arithmetic and the amount still owed.
- Download the PDF for a stable copy or edit the DOCX in a compatible word processor. Check its layout after editing before sending it yourself.
- Keep the final document and record payments separately. For calculated totals while you type, use the invoice generator.

Can I edit the download?

Does the sample include tax?
No tax is calculated in the sample. Determine whether tax applies to your work and location, then add the appropriate details after checking with your tax adviser or authority.
Does downloading send the invoice to a client?
No. The file downloads to your device. Review it and send it through your own communication channel. Nothing is saved in a Microtra account by downloading this template.
