A web design proposal that defines the site to be built

A website proposal needs a page map and a content plan before it needs a polished total. Template selection, custom layouts, copy, forms and launch responsibilities all change the work. This small brochure-site estimate separates discovery, page implementation and launch checks. It asks you to identify hosting, domain control and ongoing maintenance so a project price does not quietly become an indefinite support commitment.

[Attach the page list, content responsibility and included functionality.]

[Define layout review, revision boundaries and supplied brand assets.]

[Identify domain, hosting and third-party service costs outside the project fee.]

[Record launch access, form destinations and the handover or maintenance scope.]

How to use the template.

  1. Map the pages and user actions with the client. Distinguish a brochure site from stores, member areas or custom applications.
  2. Assign content, image and brand-asset responsibilities and set a review sequence before implementation.
  3. Describe responsive behavior and the agreed browser or device checks. Keep accessibility review expectations explicit without making an unsupported certification claim.
  4. Separate project delivery from hosting, subscriptions and ongoing edits, including who controls the accounts.
  5. Agree the launch checklist and handover materials, then reconcile the estimate with the final page map.

Useful answers.

Does a page price include writing the copy?

Only if you include writing in the scope. State whether the client supplies final text, you edit drafts or you write original content.

How do I keep revisions manageable?

Define review stages, the feedback contact and what a revision covers. A changed page structure or new functionality should be assessed separately from correcting an agreed design.

What happens after launch?

Describe the handover and any support window or maintenance service you actually offer. Hosting charges, content edits and software upkeep should have clear ownership and cost boundaries.
