Bill for the landscape you installed
A planting bed can involve clearing, soil preparation, delivery and installation before the plants appear. An invoice should let a homeowner or property manager see which of those tasks are complete. This landscape installation sample keeps the project separate from routine mowing and leaves room for approved substitutions when a nursery cannot supply the original selection.

How to use the template.
- Walk the planted areas against the accepted design. Mark unfinished sections so the invoice covers only the completed stage.
- Describe nursery stock by variety and installed size where that detail helps the owner check the delivery. Retain the supplier ticket separately.
- Keep imported soil, mulch delivery and disposal distinct when the agreement bills them separately; avoid charging those costs twice inside an installation price.
- Edit the DOCX with the actual units and agreed amounts. Recalculate totals, document any prior payment and send a reviewed copy with your care handoff.
Useful answers.
Where do replacement plants belong?
Distinguish an approved design change from a warranty replacement. Give a change its own description and approval reference; check your original agreement before charging for a replacement.
Can a progress invoice include plants still at the nursery?
Describe the stage your agreement allows you to bill. Do not describe stored or reserved plants as installed; identify any separately billable procurement stage accurately.
Should watering instructions be on the invoice?
A short reference to the care sheet can help, but keep the full watering and establishment guidance in the handoff record. Billing descriptions should remain easy to reconcile with the installed work.
Keep exploring.
