A flooring invoice that matches installed rooms and finished edges
The finished floor may look continuous while the bill covers several different tasks. Show the installed product, room coverage, approved preparation and trim so the customer can reconcile the invoice with the proposal. This sample uses completed work descriptions and keeps a subfloor repair separate from the original installation.

How to use the template.
- Check the completed rooms against the accepted room schedule and describe installed area using the billing basis you agreed.
- Identify the material supplied and any approved substitutions without listing unused material as installed work.
- Tie extra preparation to its approval record, and identify trim or transitions the client can check at handover.
- Review actual quantities, material charges, credits and prior payments before sending the downloaded invoice through your own method.
Useful answers.
How do I bill for preparation found after lifting the old floor?
Use the approved change record and describe the actual repair location and completed scope. Do not add an unexplained preparation fee that the client cannot match to an authorization.
Should the invoice show unused flooring?
Follow the accepted supply agreement and explain any material charge or credit clearly. Supplied boxes and installed area are different records, so avoid presenting leftover product as installed square footage.
Can the invoice replace the product care handover?
Keep care instructions and product documentation as separate useful records. The invoice should identify what was supplied and completed, without inventing a warranty or maintenance promise.
Keep exploring.
