An electrical invoice tied to completed locations and approvals
The invoice should make sense after the electrician has left the property. Identify the serviced rooms, completed work and approved changes so a property manager can match the bill to the visit. This example separates supplied components from an owner-provided light and leaves room to explain handover documents.

[Enter actual service dates and the approval reference for the additional work.]
[Clarify which components you supplied and which the client supplied.]
[Include only completed work billed under the agreement; add applicable tax and account for prior payments.]
[Reference any agreed test or inspection records separately without implying certification this sample cannot provide.]
How to use the template.
- Start from the accepted scope and service notes, then identify completed work by location rather than copying a generic electrical labor line.
- List supplied components and owner-provided fittings accurately. Remove diagnostic or repair lines that were not performed.
- Reference the client's approval for extra work and retain your supporting records through your own document process.
- Reconcile deposits and other payments, check the actual agreed rates and tax treatment, then download and review the invoice before sharing.
Useful answers.
How can a property manager match the invoice to a tenant visit?
Include the property address, work-order reference and serviced location. The billing contact may be different from the occupant who provided access, so keep those roles clear.
Do test records replace the invoice description?
No. Describe the completed billable work on the invoice and refer to any separate records you provide. The template itself does not certify an electrical installation or satisfy a local authority's documentation rules.
Can I record payment in Microtra after sharing the PDF?
Microtra can record payments received elsewhere and track invoice balances. Share the PDF through your device and enter the payment when you receive it; the downloaded sample does not import itself into the app.
Keep exploring.
