A DJ quote that separates performance from production
A quote for event music should explain the performance window and the setup needed to support it. A ceremony microphone on a separate lawn can mean different equipment and access from an indoor reception set. Show the client what is included and which production choices remain optional before they compare totals.

[List performance, load-in and pack-out windows and the equipment included.]

[Mark options clearly; add quotation validity, applicable tax and the separate agreement step.]
How to use the template.
- Review the venue layout and event timeline before choosing the sound and lighting package.
- Describe distinct ceremony, cocktail and reception requirements without assuming shared equipment can cover every location.
- Build the fee from performance time, preparation, transport, setup and equipment needs using your own costs.
- Replace the sample prices and confirm selected options before preparing a reviewed booking agreement.
Useful answers.
Should setup time appear in the quote?
State the required access window and whether setup is included in the package. The client needs to know when the venue must be available even if setup is not billed as a separate line.
How do I offer lighting without adding it to the base total?
Label it as an optional service and show the client how acceptance changes the total. Remove unselected options from the final accepted scope.
Does this quote replace a booking agreement?
No. It describes the proposed service and price. Use a separate attorney-reviewed agreement to address the legal terms of the booking.
Keep exploring.
