A deep-cleaning task sheet for buildup and overlooked areas
Deep cleaning begins with deciding which buildup can be addressed safely on the surfaces in front of you. It may include cabinet fronts, greasy touchpoints, baseboards and neglected floor edges, but it does not mean every stain can be removed. Use the sheet to agree priorities and access before opening products or moving belongings.

Detailed house-cleaning walkthrough sheet
Survey the condition before choosing products
- Identify delicate stone, unsealed wood, coated fixtures and damaged surfaces.
- Agree who clears counters, shelves, closets and floor areas.
- Note heavy grease, soap residue and blocked areas; distinguish removable buildup from surface damage.
- List appliance interiors, high areas and furniture movement only if specifically agreed.
Kitchen detail pass
- Degrease accessible cabinet fronts, pulls and backsplash using a suitable method.
- Clean the agreed range exterior and removable parts according to manufacturer instructions.
- Address accessible sink edges, faucet bases and countertop seams without dismantling fittings.
- Clean empty appliance interiors only when included and safe to access.
- Finish accessible kickboards, corners and floor edges before the main floor.
Bathrooms beyond the daily wipe
- Assess mineral and soap buildup on the actual fixture finish before treatment.
- Clean reachable shower tracks, door edges, vanity fronts and fixture bases.
- Detail accessible grout and surfaces without promising to repair failing sealant or discoloration.
- Clean the toilet exterior and accessible surrounding floor, using separate appropriate tools.
Sleeping and living areas
- Dust reachable trim, door panels, fan surfaces and ledges using safe access methods.
- Clean baseboards and accessible floor edges after dry dust removal.
- Vacuum upholstery or mattress surfaces only where agreed and suitable.
- Work around personal belongings; record shelves or areas left uncleared.
Review the exceptions together
- Recheck agreed detail areas under useful lighting.
- Note permanent staining, damaged finishes and inaccessible spaces.
- Return moved items as agreed and leave treated floors safe.
- Record the customer walkthrough and any additional work proposed separately.
[Property, crew, agreed rooms, task exceptions and handover notes]
Follow product labels and surface-care instructions. Never mix cleaning chemicals.
This is a cleaning scope sheet, not mold remediation, pest treatment or a guarantee of restoration.
How to use the template.
- Walk the rooms with the authorized contact and rank the buildup and detail work that matters most.
- Edit the checklist to match the agreed scope, removing tasks that require specialist work or unsafe access.
- Use separate tools and surface-appropriate methods; record damage or uncertainty before treatment.
- Mark completed tasks and explain exceptions during handover instead of checking work that was not done.
Useful answers.
Does deep cleaning include mold removal?
Do not include specialist remediation by default. Stop and discuss suspected mold or unsafe conditions with the authorized contact and refer work beyond your training to an appropriate professional.
How is this different from a routine visit sheet?
This list focuses on buildup, edges and detail areas that need a separate scope decision. A routine visit usually has a more limited maintenance task list agreed with the customer.
Can I use it for an apartment?
Yes. Remove rooms and tasks that do not apply, identify shared-building access rules and agree which belongings or furniture will be moved before the cleaner arrives.
Keep exploring.
