A concrete work agreement outline for a defined placement
A driveway, patio or slab proposal leaves important questions about the ground beneath it and the finish above it. This download helps you assemble those details for legal review: excavation, base preparation, reinforcement, placement boundaries and curing responsibilities. It is a sample outline, and Microtra does not create contracts.
This is a sample, not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney in your state review any contract before you use it.
Inside the downloadable sample
- Drawing and placement limits
- Subgrade, base and reinforcement
- Concrete, surface and joints
- Trucks, adjacent property and weather
- Curing, handover and use
- Money, changes and legal terms
The PDF and editable DOCX contain the sample clauses and blank agreement fields. Microtra does not generate contracts.
How to use the template.
- Collect the site sketch, finish selection and specification before editing the DOCX.
- Mark each responsibility for excavation, reinforcement, access and aftercare; remove items outside your scope.
- Take the complete outline and attachments to a qualified attorney in your state to draft suitable terms.
- Use a separate review and signing process, keeping approved changes with the signed agreement.
Useful answers.
Does this sample promise that concrete will never crack?
No. Define the specified work and appropriate acceptance criteria with the project professionals. Have your attorney review any proposed warranty wording rather than offering a blanket promise.
What if excavation reveals unsuitable soil?
Agree a process for pausing, documenting the condition and approving a revised scope before additional work. The outline leaves the legal and financial consequences for counsel to draft.
Can a patio and a structural slab use the same scope?
Their design, loading and preparation may differ. Replace the outline with the actual project documents and obtain the relevant professional input before asking an attorney to review the agreement.
Keep exploring.
