Write a home cleaning proposal from the walkthrough
The walkthrough should explain the proposal. Note occupied rooms, surface condition, pet arrangements and the tasks requested, then separate the first clean from the recurring scope. This sample offers a room-based starting point for a house cleaning estimate without assuming every home needs the same work or that a deep initial visit has the same effort as maintenance.

Example: this fictional home and its amounts illustrate a proposal layout, not recommended cleaning prices.
[List included rooms, floor types, access and household preparation assumptions.]
[Separate first-visit tasks from the proposed recurring checklist.]
[Identify appliance interiors, high access and other excluded or optional work.]
[Record who supplies products and equipment, applicable tax and quote approval terms.]
How to use the template.
- Inspect or obtain a clear description of the home; record limits when you have not seen the surfaces in person.
- Write the included tasks before pricing them, especially kitchen appliances, bed changes and rooms with belongings.
- Calculate the effort and supplies for the defined visit, then distinguish optional first-visit work from recurring work.
- Replace the fictional figures and review priorities, access and exclusions with the customer before accepting a date.
Useful answers.
Can a house cleaning quote be fixed price?
Yes, when you define the work and assumptions clearly. Explain how a changed room count, access problem or additional task is discussed instead of treating every possible condition as included.
Should a first clean cost the same as maintenance?
Estimate each scope on its own effort and supplies. The proposal should identify any additional first-visit tasks rather than assuming one price fits both services.
How do I include an oven interior?
Inspect the condition and confirm safe access, the surface care needs and your service boundaries. Add a defined optional line only if you are equipped and have agreed to do it.
Keep exploring.
