Show the rooms and treatments on the carpet bill
Room names, measured areas and stair counts help a customer recognize the work on a carpet cleaning invoice. Describe the service actually completed and keep an agreed spot treatment separate from routine cleaning. Record stains or wear that remain in the handover notes instead of writing an outcome guarantee into the billing description.

How to use the template.
- Match rooms and measurements to the accepted work order; use the pricing unit that was agreed.
- Remove services not performed and reference authorization for stairs, upholstery or specialist treatments added at the visit.
- Use factual completion notes and record inaccessible areas or remaining staining without claiming guaranteed restoration.
- Check taxes and prior payments, provide the reviewed invoice and leave appropriate aftercare instructions with the customer.
Useful answers.
Should furniture moving be a separate line?
State the agreed limits clearly. If moving specified furniture was separately authorized and charged, describe that work; do not add an unexplained fee after an ordinary room clean.
Do I bill every room at the same size?
Use the accepted pricing basis. If the agreement uses measured area, record that area; if it uses defined room units, explain any size conditions before work rather than changing the method on the invoice.
Can I say a stain was removed if it remains visible?
No. Describe the treatment performed and note the remaining condition accurately. Cleaning an area is different from guaranteeing that discoloration or fiber damage can be reversed.
Keep exploring.
