Software for pest control business owners

Show which pest service the invoice covers.

A client should be able to tell whether the document concerns an inspection, an agreed service or a later return visit. Bring the business scope into the invoice while keeping technical treatment records in their proper place.

Make room for the real work.

  • Inspection visit invoice
  • Agreed rodent service
  • Ant service appointment
  • Commercial premises inspection
  • Follow-up inspection charge
  • Additional building visit

How it works.

  1. Check the work before describing the charge

Review the reported issue, site address, performed work and any added scope the client approved. An inspection does not imply every possible treatment was included. With Other setup, Microtra uses Job and Client; keep the ordinary work notes with the Job and retain specialist treatment documentation through your established professional process.

  2. Write lines a payer can recognize

Use clear service descriptions for inspection, agreed work and separately authorized follow-up. Identify the relevant site when a landlord or commercial contact handles several addresses. Check quantities, your own prices, tax settings and terms before preparing the final document. Avoid an unexplained generic charge that leaves the recipient unsure which visit or area it concerns.

  3. Review the effort and billable costs

Keep staff time and relevant expenses with the work, including receipt photos where useful. Distinguish a business cost included in your service price from an additional cost the client agreed to pay. Review any change before invoicing, such as a visit to a separate building, extra inspection work or an arrangement that required another technician.

    See the expenses feature
  4. Share a PDF and maintain the balance

Confirm the billing contact and preferences, then share the invoice PDF through your device. Record payment received through your existing method against the correct invoice. Use the document and payment history when a client asks about a balance, while keeping a request for further pest work separate from an administrative question about an earlier service.

Useful answers.

Should the invoice contain the complete treatment record?

Use the invoice to explain the commercial service and charge. Keep any required technical or application record through your business's professional process; this page does not claim that an invoice replaces that record.

How do I invoice an inspection that leads to later work?

Describe the completed inspection according to the arrangement you agreed. Prepare an estimate for additional work where appropriate and make the later service recognizable on its own document instead of implying it already happened.

Can I share the invoice after leaving the premises?

Prepare and review the document in the app, then share its PDF through your device using your usual client channel. Server email delivery is coming soon.

What if the property manager pays for several locations?

Use the correct billing contact and identify the relevant site and service in the invoice description. Record payments against the appropriate document so a receipt for one premises does not obscure the balance on another.
