Software for painters
Keep the color conversation with the work it changes.
A painting client's next call may be about a finish, an added room or the balance on the invoice. Retain the relationship and the job details together so the answer does not depend on finding an old message.

How it works.
Make the payer and the property recognizable
Save the Client contact and billing preferences, then connect the relevant property. Painting & decorating setup uses Job, Client and Properties in Microtra. For a landlord or manager with several addresses, confirm which property the request concerns before discussing a color change, access arrangement or additional estimate.
See the clients featureRetain decisions at the room and surface level
Use Job notes and tasks to describe rooms, walls, ceilings, trim and areas excluded from the work. Record the agreed color and finish descriptions, the extent of preparation and who moves furniture. Keep a requested change distinct from an accepted one so a casual question about an extra room does not silently become a promise.
See the jobs featureKeep the commercial conversation visible
Prepare estimates with clear preparation, coating and material descriptions, using your own measured quantities and prices. When the client changes the scope, discuss the effect before proceeding and update the document. Share the PDF through your device and retain the work description so the next site visit starts from the same understanding.
See the invoicing featureUse completed-work records for the return visit
Keep time and relevant expenses with the job, then review the invoice and payment history when a client calls again. Notes about access, furniture protection or difficult preparation can help you assess a later room without assuming it will match the earlier work. Separate a touch-up from a new painting scope before assigning staff time.

Useful answers.
Can I keep several properties under a painting client?
Linked property records are enabled by Painting & decorating setup. Keep each Job connected to the appropriate site and describe the rooms or exterior areas clearly, while retaining the billing relationship with the Client.
How should I record a change from walls only to walls and trim?
Note the request, review the added preparation and coating work, and prepare a revised estimate where appropriate. Confirm the agreement directly before changing the work, then use the accepted scope when invoicing.
Does this choose paint colors or calculate coverage?
Use your own color agreement, measurements and product information. This page describes retaining contact and business records, rather than a color-visualization tool or an automatic paint-coverage calculation.
What helps when a client asks for the same finish in another room?
Review the earlier job notes and discuss the new room's surfaces and preparation. Retained finish details are a starting point, but confirm the product, condition and scope before preparing the new estimate.
Keep exploring.
