Software for handymen

Schedule the repair list, the access and the parts.

The next visit may need an occupant home, a replacement fitting collected and enough time to clear the work area afterward. A free space in the calendar is only part of that decision. Microtra helps an owner arrange handyman appointments with the work, property and assigned staff kept close, while you decide how the day's visits fit together.

Make room for the real work.

  • Morning rental repair list
  • Door adjustment visit
  • Shelf installation after material delivery
  • Furniture assembly appointment
  • Inspection before an uncertain repair
  • Return visit with replacement parts
  • Property turnover finishing work

How it works.

  1. Clarify what the visit needs to achieve

Create the Job tasks and notes before choosing a time. Distinguish an inspection from a visit intended to complete the work, and identify parts or client decisions still outstanding. A vague repair list can consume the space reserved for the next client; use the scope you know to make a practical allowance and discuss uncertainty directly.

  2. Confirm the right door will be open

Link the Client and Properties information and check the access contact, parking and arrival arrangements. Trades & construction starts with these labels and linked property records. When a landlord is paying but a tenant provides access, record the practical distinction and confirm the appointment with the appropriate people through your normal channel.

  3. Assign the work within a realistic day

Create appointments linked to the work and assign staff, reviewing working hours, breaks and time off. Leave your own allowances for travel, materials collection, setup and clearing down. You organize the sequence yourself; the schedule keeps the planned appointments visible rather than deciding the best journey or automatically allocating repairs to people.

  4. Revisit neighboring jobs when a repair grows

If a task needs more work or the parts are wrong, speak with the client and revise the appointment plan. Review the rest of the day before agreeing an extended visit or a return. Keep outstanding tasks and costs with the job, then prepare the invoice for the work delivered rather than treating the calendar slot as proof of completion.

Useful answers.

Is this an automatic dispatch tool?

You choose who will do the work and organize the appointments inside the business. This page does not promise live dispatching or automatic allocation based on location.

Can I reserve a visit just to assess a repair?

Keep the visit's purpose clear in the work notes and appointment arrangement. An assessment slot should not be presented as a completion promise when the condition or parts still need checking.

How should I plan a parts-dependent return?

Keep the outstanding task visible, confirm that the part is ready and agree property access before reserving the return visit. Review the earlier work record so the follow-up scope remains specific.

Do repeat clients receive automatic reminders?

Automatic service reminders are coming soon. Plan repeat visits yourself and contact clients through your established method when arranging or changing a time.
