Software for handymen
Bill the repair so the client can recognize it.
An invoice reading labor and materials leaves too much to memory after a busy handyman visit. Name the door adjusted, the shelf installed and the parts supplied. Microtra helps turn the work record into a clear invoice PDF, then keeps the payment and outstanding balance with the client and property context.
Make room for the real work.
- Multi-room repair visit
- Shelving and wall fixing work

How it works.
Check who receives the bill for this property
Use the Client contact and relevant Properties record supplied by Trades & construction setup. Confirm the billing name and any reference before preparing the document. When a landlord, property manager and occupant are involved, distinguish the person who arranged access from the person responsible for paying so the invoice reaches the right conversation.
See the clients featureTranslate completed tasks into invoice lines
Review the Job tasks and notes against what you actually delivered. Use saved items for recognizable services and enter the appropriate quantities and prices. Separate supplied parts from fitting work when that distinction helps the client. For time-and-materials work, review recorded hours and billable materials before preparing the invoice rather than copying the original request unchanged.
See the invoicing featureMatch receipts and time to the agreed scope
Add or review time entries for the visit, with the relevant work and billing rate. Keep receipt photos for approved purchases and check which costs are billable. A collection trip or unexpected part may require discussion under your agreement; recording the cost does not by itself make the client responsible for it.
See the time featureShare the document and track what came back
Check descriptions, terms and the total, then share the PDF through your device. Record payments received through your usual method and review the outstanding balance before following up. If a return visit remains open, keep that task in the work record so a paid invoice for completed repairs does not imply that every requested item has been finished.

Useful answers.
Can I invoice from tracked handyman hours?
Time-and-materials invoices from jobs are available. Review the hours, billing rate and billable materials against the client agreement before generating the document.
Should the property address appear in the description?
Make the work location recognizable where the billing contact manages several properties. Keep the correct client and property connected, then review the final document for the references the payer needs.
How do I show a small extra repair agreed during the visit?
Add a specific description that identifies the task and its agreed billing basis. Keep the approval and work notes clear so the invoice explains the addition instead of surprising the client.
Does Microtra collect the amount due?
Card charging is coming soon. Receive payment through your existing method, record the amount actually received and use the balance record to guide any follow-up.
Keep exploring.
