Software for electricians
Send someone to a site that is ready for the work.
An investigation, an installation and a return after another trade finishes can need different access and preparation. Plan those appointments beside the electrical Job, with the staff and site context attached. Microtra supports owner-managed scheduling while you decide the work sequence, technical suitability and arrangements that must be confirmed before a person attends the property.
Make room for the real work.
- Fault investigation appointment
- Lighting installation visit
- Access meeting with a property manager
- Materials-ready return visit
- Coordination after preparation work
- Completion and handoff appointment
How it works.
Make the property and access arrangement explicit
Use the Client, Properties and Job records that start with Trades & construction setup. Note the working area, site contact and agreed access details. If the payer is a property manager, check who will actually open the site. Keep the appointment linked to a defined scope so the person attending can review why the visit was arranged.
See the clients featureChoose a time after reviewing readiness
Add the appointment to the Job and assign staff after reviewing working hours, breaks and time off. Check your own material and equipment arrangements before confirming. Where an interruption to the client's normal use is part of the work, discuss it directly through your professional process rather than leaving the practical effect hidden in a calendar title.
See the jobs featureCoordinate the handoff with other work
Use tasks and notes for preparation, access or choices that still need confirmation. If another trade must finish first, verify that arrangement directly and update the plan yourself. Microtra does not provide live dispatch, GPS tracking or route optimization; staff travel and coordination with outside businesses remain your responsibility.
See the team featureReview return work before closing the day
If investigation changes the scope or a part is unavailable, agree the next step and move or create the relevant appointment. Check the effect on surrounding work and contact the people affected. Update status and notes before preparing the invoice so the account and the next visit both reflect what was completed and what remains outstanding.

Useful answers.
Does this automatically dispatch the nearest electrician?
Microtra does not provide dispatch, GPS tracking or route optimization. The owner chooses staff and organizes appointments inside the business. Review suitability, access and travel through your own process before assigning a visit rather than assuming a calendar opening identifies the right person for the electrical work.
Can I keep a return visit with the original assignment?
Link appointments to the Job and describe what the return is for. Include any outstanding material, access or scope decision in the notes. You confirm the new arrangement directly and review the surrounding schedule yourself; the app does not decide that a site is technically ready for work.
Will a property manager see available slots online?
Public online booking is coming soon. Arrange access and the work directly with the relevant contact, then enter the appointment inside the business. A billing contact may need to coordinate with an occupant, so confirm that the agreed time also works for the person providing access.
Does moving the visit send a message to everyone?
Server email and SMS delivery are coming soon. Contact affected staff and clients through your usual channel, then update the appointment and Job notes. Recheck the practical arrangement as well as the time, particularly if a site needs preparation before the electrician can begin.
Keep exploring.
