Does this make the designer responsible for construction?
No. Describe the actual services and the roles of contractors and other professionals. Have counsel review those boundaries rather than implying construction supervision is included by default.
How should client-purchased furniture be handled?
Identify who places orders, verifies dimensions, manages returns and handles delivery issues. Direct client purchases need different responsibilities from an agreed designer procurement service.
Can I use project photos in my portfolio?
Resolve photography access and publication permission separately with the client and your attorney. A design engagement should not be treated as automatic permission to publish images of a private home.
