Does a maintenance contract include every repair?
Only include repairs that the final agreement actually covers. Identify consumables, diagnostic work and replacement components separately so a maintenance visit is not mistaken for unlimited repair cover.
How should I set the service-contract price?
Estimate the labor for the agreed tasks and visit pattern, then add travel, consumables, business overhead and the margin your business needs. Check the resulting scope with the customer rather than treating a sample figure as a market rate.
