A sitting invoice that shows the care window
Parents should be able to recognize the sitting date and care window without reading private details about their children. List the agreed hours, separate approved purchases and explain any change from the planned finish. This sample is for billing the care provided; sensitive routines and emergency information belong in separate care records.

How to use the template.
- Confirm actual arrival and handover times against the booking and any approved extension.
- Use the compensation basis agreed with the parent; replace the example hourly figures or describe a fixed sitting charge.
- Add only approved reimbursements and retain purchase records separately from sensitive care information.
- Review the bill with the guardian contact, account for prior payments and send the finished document yourself.
Useful answers.
Do I need children names on the bill?
Use only the detail needed for the guardian to identify the service. The care date, household reference and agreed time window may be sufficient; keep private health and routine information out of the invoice.
What if a parent returns later than planned?
Record the actual handover and discuss the adjustment using the agreement. Do not invent a late charge after the sitting or silently change the billing basis.
Can I invoice for a canceled sitting?
Only describe a cancellation charge when it is appropriate to the reviewed agreement and applicable rules. This completed-care sample does not establish a cancellation policy.
Keep exploring.
