Software for real estate photographers

A listing shoot has more than an address.

The agent, access contact, property readiness and agreed image package all affect a listing assignment. Keep those business details connected before you arrive so the time at the property can be spent on the shoot rather than finding the original request.

The everyday details

You know the work.
The admin adds up.

The person booking may not unlock the door

An agent can arrange the shoot while an owner or property representative handles access. Confirm the practical handover and responsible payer as separate parts of the assignment.

Readiness affects the appointment

Staging, cleaning and occupied rooms can change the time needed on site. Discuss what must be ready and what happens if the property cannot be photographed as agreed.

An add-on changes the deliverable

Additional rooms, a second visit or an expanded image request needs a revised agreement. Keep that scope distinct from the listing package first quoted.

The image package needs an agreed limit

An agent may request a different delivery mix after seeing the property. Confirm the commercial scope and any added image work directly; the listing address alone does not define how much post-production the assignment includes.

How Microtra helps

Keep the business connected.

Use the tools that fit your day, with your records ready on your phone or on the web.

Retain the agent relationship

Save client billing details, ordinary notes and invoice history. A repeat agent can remain the contact while each property shoot has its own job description and accepted scope.

Arrange access with the appointment

Create the shoot job, tasks and staff appointment with the property address and confirmed arrangements. Keep sensitive keys or entry codes in an appropriate separate secure process.

Quote a recognizable shoot package

Use clear estimate lines for the agreed photography service and approved additions. Describe the property and delivery scope so the invoice can be matched to the listing without another phone call.

Review travel and post-production effort

Record time against the work and enter business expenses with receipt photos. Compare the complete assignment effort with the quote, including preparation and image work after leaving the property.

Keep assignment purchases traceable

Save receipt photos with expenses for approved hired equipment or other business purchases. Review the cost with the job rather than mixing a listing-specific charge into unexplained overhead.

A day in the life

From the first quote to paid.

  1. Receive the listing brief

Confirm the property, agent, payer and requested deliverables. Ask who is responsible for readiness and who will provide access.

  2. Confirm the shoot window

Place the appointment after discussing access and preparation. Check your own travel plan and leave the necessary time around the visit.

  3. Resolve a changed request

If the property needs a return visit or more images, discuss the extra work and update the business scope after agreement.

  4. Finish the assignment record

Deliver images through your separate photography workflow. Share the business invoice PDF from your device and record payment received elsewhere.

A few useful answers

Questions from real estate photographers.

Does this generate floor plans or property tours?

Microtra does not generate floor plans, virtual tours or edited photographs. It supports the job, contact, time and billing records beside your specialist production tools.

Can an agent select images in Microtra?

Microtra does not provide image galleries or proof selection. Use your chosen photography delivery service; the client portal is also coming soon.

What setup should a listing photographer use?

Other starts with Job and Client. Linked records are off; switch them on in Modules & terms if you want linked property records for the business.

Can I bill an extra property visit?

Describe the additional attendance separately after the client has approved it. Include enough property and scope detail to distinguish it from the original shoot.
