Software for plumbing business owners

Recognize the property before you return.

A call about a leaking fixture is easier to understand when you can find the owner, the service address and the work you discussed before. Use Microtra for the business records behind the visit: who authorized it, what the scope included and which document went to the bill payer.

Make room for the real work.

  • Water heater replacement inquiry
  • Recurring drain blockage investigation
  • Leaking shutoff valve repair
  • Fixture installation for a landlord
  • Bathroom renovation follow-up
  • Commercial maintenance call

How it works.

  1. Distinguish access from authorization

Create the Client contact for the person or business commissioning the work. Keep billing preferences and site contacts clear when a tenant provides access but a landlord approves the repair. A familiar address should not replace checking who can agree to additional work.

  2. Give each property its own context

Trades & construction starts with Properties linked records. Associate the service location with useful access notes, equipment descriptions and relevant contact details. Record a heater model or fixture location in your notes when it helps identify the work; do not assume the address alone is enough.

  3. Keep the scope with the repair

Use the Job notes and tasks to distinguish the reported fault from the work actually agreed. A drain investigation may reveal another cause; describe what needs a separate estimate before proceeding. Keep the business record understandable to someone who did not take the original call.

  4. Review documents before the next conversation

Open the contact history to find estimates, invoices and recorded payments. Check which repair an outstanding balance belongs to before discussing another visit. Share a document PDF from your device and record payment after it is received through your existing method.

Useful answers.

How should I handle a tenant and a property owner?

Identify the commissioning and billing contact, then record the access arrangements and service location. Make authorization explicit in the job notes. Your tenancy and approval procedures determine who may approve work, rather than the existence of a saved contact.

Does plumbing CRM diagnose recurring faults?

Microtra organizes your contacts and work records. You assess the system, perform the investigation and record the findings. A previous repair is useful context, but it is not a diagnosis of a new symptom.

Can I find unpaid work for a repeat client?

The contact record brings together invoices and payment history. Review the relevant document and balance before discussing it, particularly when the same owner has commissioned repairs at several properties.

Will the app contact customers for me?

Server email and SMS delivery are coming soon. Share PDFs through your device and use your normal contact method for estimates, access questions and follow-up conversations.
