Software for lawn care business owners
Make room for the yards that need more than a quick pass.
Wet ground, a steep slope and a locked gate can change a mowing day. Plan visits from the actual work and access conditions, then adjust the schedule yourself when the weather or the client changes the arrangement.
Make room for the real work.
- Routine lawn mowing
- Edging and string trimming
- Leaf cleanup visit
- Mulch delivery and spreading
- Shrub shaping
- Lawn restoration preparation
How it works.
Build the day from the work at each address
Create a Job with the maintained area, access instructions and agreed tasks. A small lawn with a narrow side gate may take longer to reach than a larger open yard. Other setup gives Microtra the words Job and Client; linked property records start off and can be switched on in Modules & terms if you need them.
See the jobs featureReserve crew time and the travel you expect
Add appointments linked to the work and assign staff. Leave room for loading, unloading and moving between addresses based on your own knowledge of the area. Consider whether the mower, trimmer or trailer is needed elsewhere before promising a time. Review working hours, breaks and time off when arranging the day's work.
See the team featureMove the visit when site conditions demand it
If rain, irrigation or standing water makes the visit unsuitable, agree the change directly with the client and update the appointment. Check what the move does to the rest of the day, including cleanup and disposal. Repeat visits are scheduled by the owner; keep a skipped mowing separate from an agreement to end service.
See the jobs featureLearn from the time the work actually took
Record work time or use the job timer, then review it alongside access notes and the services completed. Long carries for mulch, heavy leaf collection or repeated gate delays can affect the next visit. Use that information when planning future work and preparing an invoice, while retaining the agreed scope for each appointment.

Automatic service reminders, public online booking and route optimization are coming soon.
Useful answers.
Will a mowing visit repeat on the schedule automatically?
Plan repeat visits yourself and confirm the arrangement with the client. Review weather, growth, holidays and requested skips before reserving time, rather than treating an earlier appointment as a guarantee that conditions will be the same.
Does this choose the fastest drive between lawns?
Route optimization and GPS tracking are coming soon. The owner chooses the visit order and travel allowance, then uses appointments and assigned staff to organize the work inside the app.
Can I plan a cleanup alongside regular mowing?
Create a separate scope when the cleanup needs different equipment, disposal or a longer work period. Place its appointment where the crew has enough time, and check that it does not silently displace an already agreed mowing visit.
What should I tell a client after rescheduling?
Explain the revised visit directly through your normal channel and update the appointment details. Automatic service reminders are coming soon, so keep responsibility for communicating a weather change with the business.
Keep exploring.
