Software for golf instructors

Keep the lesson arrangement clear before reaching the range.

An introductory lesson, a short-game session and a playing lesson use different space, time and facilities. Microtra helps a golf instructor organize the sessions agreed directly with students, the packs they hold and the account behind the coaching, while the instructor teaches through their own professional methods.

The everyday details

You know the work.
The admin adds up.

The lesson description needs a location

A student may expect time on the course when the arrangement is for the practice range. Confirm the session type, meeting place and what is included. Facility access and any outside charges need a direct conversation rather than an assumption in the diary.

A pack balance is easy to misremember

A student returning after a break may ask how many lessons remain or whether an arrangement has expired. Keep credit use and balances available inside the business so the next booking starts with the same understanding on both sides.

Conditions can change the arrangement

Range access, facility availability or weather may affect a lesson you planned. Review those external conditions yourself and contact the student when a change is needed. A free slot in a personal schedule does not reserve a bay or a tee time.

How Microtra helps

Keep the business connected.

Use the tools that fit your day, with your records ready on your phone or on the web.

Set up the lessons you actually offer

Create services with duration, buffers, staff and availability, then arrange bookings inside the app with schedule conflict checks. Confirm the facility and meeting point directly. Microtra does not reserve golf course tee times or range bays.

Manage the coaching pack inside the business

Track packs and memberships with credit use, balances, expiration, top-ups and renewals. Public online booking and online package sales are coming soon. Explain what the student is purchasing and whether outside facility fees are separate before entering the arrangement.

Recognize the student account

Keep contact details, notes, estimates and invoice history together. Yoga & fitness studio uses Session and Member as its labels. Member is the software's contact word for this setup; it does not establish a golf club membership.

Leave room for your working day

Use staff availability, working hours and time off around the sessions. Add time entries where helpful to understand preparation and teaching effort. Coaching assessment, swing analysis and practice plans remain in your own teaching process and specialist tools.

Finish the lesson's financial record

Use saved invoice items for agreed instruction and other services, then share the checked PDF through your device. Record payment received elsewhere. Card charging and card deposits are coming soon, so a booking does not collect lesson money.

A day in the life

From the first quote to paid.

  1. Agree the kind of instruction

Discuss the student's request, the lesson format and the location. Confirm what is included and check facility arrangements separately before describing the session in the business record.

  2. Place the booking

Choose the service, available instructor and time inside the app. Review the duration and buffer, then confirm directly with the student after you have checked the range or course arrangement through your existing channel.

  3. Review the pack before teaching

Check the credit balance and the agreed service, recording use against the arrangement. Keep technical coaching observations and any video analysis in the appropriate teaching tools rather than expecting a business booking to analyze the swing.

  4. Close and arrange the next visit

Review the invoice and recorded payment, then discuss the next session directly. If conditions require a change, reschedule the booking and contact the student yourself so the location and time remain clear.

A few useful answers

Questions from golf instructors.

Does this analyze a golf swing?

No. Microtra organizes the business side of instruction, including bookings, contact notes, packs and invoices. It does not analyze video, read launch-monitor data or recommend swing changes. Use your coaching expertise and suitable specialist tools for those tasks.

Can a student book from a public lesson page?

Public online booking is coming soon. Agree the session directly and create it inside the app. Server email and SMS reminders are coming soon, so keep confirmations and changes in your own communication routine.

Why does this setup say Member?

Yoga & fitness studio starts with Session and Member, with bookings and packages enabled. These are app labels rather than a claim about the student's relationship with a club. Linked records and inventory start off; enable them in Modules & terms before use.

Will the schedule reserve course access?

No. A Microtra booking records the arrangement in your business. Check and reserve course access, tee times or practice facilities through the relevant provider yourself. A conflict check in the app does not verify an external facility reservation.
