Software for estheticians

Make room for the conversation before the service.

A returning facial client, a brow appointment and a first consultation need different space in the diary. Keep the agreed service, visit, client notes and invoice connected, with enough room for preparation and cleanup around the work you provide.

The everyday details

You know the work.
The admin adds up.

A short service name leaves questions

A client asking for a facial may be expecting a different service from the one you intend to provide. Discuss the request directly, follow your professional consultation process and record the agreed service without treating a business note as a clinical assessment.

Turnover needs time between visits

Preparing the room, changing linens and clearing products affect the next appointment. A diary filled with back-to-back start times can conceal this work. Build your own realistic duration and buffer into each service before confirming a visit.

Credits and additions need a shared understanding

A client may use a package credit and also request a separately priced service. Review the balance and explain the addition before treatment. The invoice should reflect the agreement rather than surprising someone who believed the whole visit was included.

How Microtra helps

Keep the business connected.

Use the tools that fit your day, with your records ready on your phone or on the web.

Preserve the agreed service context

Save client contact details, notes, estimates and invoice history together. Keep professional consultation, consent and sensitive treatment documentation in your appropriate process; Microtra does not provide a specialist clinical chart or assess a client's suitability for a treatment.

Distinguish the service from the extra

Use saved invoice items for the services you offer and check any agreed additions. Share a reviewed PDF through your device, then record payment received by your existing method. Card charging is coming soon.

Give supplies a visible cost

Enter business expenses and receipt photos for linens, disposable supplies and products. If you want stock tools, enable inventory in Modules & terms first; it starts off for Barber & salon. Stock counts do not replace your product handling procedures.

A day in the life

From the first quote to paid.

  1. Review the requested appointment

Find the client contact and discuss the service. Complete the professional consultation appropriate to your practice, then record the business agreement and any pricing question that must be settled before reserving time.

  2. Place a realistic booking

Choose the service, practitioner and availability inside the app. Check the duration, buffer and schedule conflicts, then confirm the arrangement through your usual communication channel with the client.

  3. Agree changes during the visit

If the service plan changes, explain the scope and price before proceeding. Keep the appointment notes and invoice items aligned with the work agreed rather than leaving reception to reconstruct the conversation.

  4. Close the account calmly

Review credits, completed services and any additions. Share the invoice PDF, record payment taken elsewhere and discuss the next appointment directly, creating it in the diary once you have agreed a time.

A few useful answers

Questions from estheticians.

Which industry option should I select?

Choose Barber & salon for Appointment and Client. It starts with bookings and packages available inside the app, while linked records and inventory start off. Enable those optional modules in Modules & terms before using their tools.

Can Microtra recommend treatments or diagnose skin concerns?

No. It organizes the business side of appointments, client notes and invoices. It does not diagnose, recommend clinical treatment or replace your training, consultation, consent or referral procedures. Keep specialist records in the system appropriate to your practice.

Can clients reserve a facial from a public page?

Public online booking is coming soon. You agree the visit directly and create the booking inside Microtra. Server email and SMS reminders are coming soon, so use your own communication routine to confirm and follow up.

How do I handle a service package?

Record the arrangement you make directly with the client, then review credit use and balances inside the app. Check what the package includes before invoicing an additional service; online package sales are coming soon.
